Structured Basketball Development Programs

Next Play Basketball offer three programs designed to meet the development needs of children ages 4 to 13 years old.
In each program, we help build confidence, and character through structured basketball programs and gameplay experiences designed to help kids stay active, improve skills, and build confidence.

NEXT PLAY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Our Next Play Development Program is designed to help young athletes build confidence, improve basketball skills, stay active, and have fun in a positive, structured environment.
Each session combines skill development, movement, gameplay, and age-appropriate competition to keep players engaged while reinforcing teamwork, discipline, confidence, and basketball fundamentals.
Players are grouped by age and skill level to create an environment where athletes can learn, develop, and grow at the appropriate pace both on and off the court.
Throughout the program, athletes will:
✔ Improve coordination, movement, footwork, and basketball fundamentals
✔ Develop confidence through structured coaching and gameplay
✔ Build teamwork, communication, focus, and game awareness
✔ Stay active in a positive and engaging environment
✔ Participate in structured gameplay and competitive development opportunities
Structured gameplay and seasonal event opportunities may be available depending on participation, location, and facility availability. Programs and formats may vary by age group, season, and community.

AGES 4–6 | Little Ballers
Fun introduction to basketball through movement, coordination, listening skills, and beginner gameplay.
AGES 7–9 | Rising Players
Build foundational basketball skills, confidence, teamwork, and game understanding through structured development and gameplay.
AGES 10–13 | Game Ready
Develop advanced basketball skills, movement, decision-making, spacing, and live gameplay confidence.
